“Due to my life experiences I find satisfaction in working with students who have significant challenges in improving attendance, consistency in enrollment and achieving core subject proficiency. I realized the students the Teach with Africa program serves are at-risk young people just like the students I’ve been serving during my teaching career.  This is the student population I enjoy working with because I get a sense of satisfaction when I see them succeed and become productive members of society.”
