“I think the biggest barrier to connecting with another person is having too many preconceived ideas of how things should be. It is easy to forget that you are one person and your particular history, values and experiences don’t match those of another person.”

Ralph has been a high school science teacher for 14 years. He currently teaches biology and earth science at Westmoor High School in Daly City, CA.  From 2008-2009 he taught in Pecs, Hungary as a Fulbright Fellow.  He has completed a nine-month long sabbatical in South America, working on biology projects, studying Spanish, and participating in a program with homeless children in Rio de Janeiro.  Ralph has a B. A. in Biology and Teaching Credential in Secondary Education from San Francisco State University.  An avid traveler during summer breaks, Ralph has been to more countries than we can list in Central and South America, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
