Breast Cancer Prevention and Survival Event


Dr. William Goodson Shares the Latest in Breast Cancer Prevention and Survival Wednesday, October 24th, 10 a.m.  The Club at Harbor Point, Nourish Restaurant, Mill Valley Dr. William Goodson, renowned Bay Area physician and expert on breast cancer diagnostics, will share the latest in treatment and prevention of this disease in an October 24th talk. He will address the critical questions of breast cancer survivors, and those who want to prevent it in themselves and loved ones:

  • What do I do to stay healthy after breast cancer treatment?
  • How can I prevent recurrences?
  • What should I do or avoid to prevent getting breast cancer?
  • What are the environmental factors that influence breast cancer?  

Dr. Goodson has specialized in the diagnosis and care of breast diseases since 1982. As a Senior Clinical Research Scientist at California Pacific Medical Center, he focuses on research on how environmental chemicals impact women’s and children’s health.

Dr. Goodson’s talk is co-sponsored by To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation and Teach with Africa. To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation raises funds and makes grants to nonprofit organizations that provide services and support to women and men living with breast cancer. Teach with Africa funds educational exchanges between U.S. teachers and severely underserved South African communities and was founded by a breast cancer survivor.
