Double Your Impact to Fuel Cross-Cultural Learning

Dear Teach With Africa Supporters,

As we close out another extraordinary year, we are reflecting on the moments of connection, learning, and transformation made possible by your support. Now more than ever, Teach With Africa remains a source of inspiration and renewal—linking classrooms, cultures, and communities in ways that change lives. This year’s programs were among our most meaningful yet. Below are highlights of the strong impact felt by South African educators, U.S. educators, host families, and one of our key partners: LEAP Institute.

We are thrilled to share that Teach With Africa has received $8,000 in matching funds—a $5,000 year-end gift from W.L. Butler, and $3,000 collectively from our Board of Directors. Every dollar donated between now and December 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $8,000, doubling your impact and helping us bring more educators into this transformative experience.

We heard powerful reflections this year– one host teacher shared, “Our students LOVED having the opportunity to meet a teacher from South Africa. They appreciated learning about Nelson Mandela, the 13 languages spoken, and Apartheid—making many connections to the legacy of race relations in the U.S.A.”Moments like these remind us why global educator exchange matters—because it deepens understanding, sparks curiosity, and builds empathy across borders.

We hope you will join us in supporting Teach With Africa’s work as we look ahead to 2026. Your generosity makes it possible for educators to grow, students to thrive, and communities to build lasting bridges of understanding. With warm gratitude and best wishes for the holiday season,

Fondly,
Margie and Larry Schlenoff
