3) Donations of Stock
Teach With Africa now accepts gifts of appreciated stock, which we sell immediately in order to support our work. You are entitled to a full fair market value charitable tax deduction. In accordance with IRS regulations, you will receive an acknowledgement for tax purposes listing the number of shares donated and the value of the stock as of the date the shares are received in our account. Stock donations may offer significant tax benefits to the donor, and we recommend that you consult a tax professional for specific advice about your situation.
