We are thrilled to share that our 17th Annual Teach With Africa Celebration on March 26 achieved new heights, thanks to this wonderful community. Nearly 270 of you came together at the stunning Lodge at the Regency Ballroom —our first event at this new venue. Your collective generosity raised approximately $220,000 to support our teacher exchange programs and our special partnerships with LEAP Science & Maths Schools and The Global Teachers Institute.

Over $90,000 came from the Fund-A-Need auction supporting critical programs including feeding students, technology for classrooms, and transportation for teachers. Thank you to our auctioneer, Matthew Perry, who shepherded the ask for these important resources with such spirit and dedication.

It is not too late to keep the magic of the event alive! You can still support our Fund-A-Need here:

“Funding isn’t charity—it’s an investment in potential. Every child saved is a future teacher, doctor, or leader. Help us create more stories of hope. Together, we can be the hand that pulls others from the shadows.”

-James Malope, Executive Board Member
and National Instructional Leader at LEAP
