Our partner schools have had a profound impact on the lives of students who would otherwise be left behind in South Africa. And hundreds of those students have become teachers who are now fundamentally helping to improve the outcome in the education of that country. Teacher supply in South Africa is inadequate with only 15,000 new teachers joining the profession; the country needs 25,000 teachers to replace those who are leaving or retiring. We believe that we can collectively support our partner schools in South Africa to help brighten the future through all these joint efforts!
As we close out 2021, Teach with Africa is celebrating the resilience of our partners but also recognizing that there are still challenges ahead. And we are asking you to help us change lives.
